Boathouse Sports Team Uniforms are high quality weatherproof jacket & pants. The jacket will have the player’s name embroidered on the right chest and our circular Staples Rugby logo on the left chest. Across the back flap will be ‘Rugby/Staples HS’. The pants will carry our circular Staples Rugby logo on the front right hip and the player’s name embroidered on the left hip.
Pricing is based upon a minimum per order of six uniforms. Your order may be held until six orders are received. The uniforms will be delivered approximately 3 weeks after ordering. The Boathouse apparel and the team bag are costed as they are charged to us. There is no markup!

Team Kit Bags are custom made for us and carry each player’s name (up to 21 letters including spaces). They are 18oz. canvas bags with handles, shoulder strap, player name, with quality heavy duty zips, end wet pocket with zip for boots and wet/dirty gear, plus a small inside zip pouch for mouth-guard, tape, wallet, etc. They are great quality, very sturdy and will last a very long time. Pricing is based upon a minimum per order of six kit-bags. Your order may be held until six orders are received.
T-shirts & Water Bottles can now also be purchased. Caps, Decals, Ties, Dress Shirts and Polo’s coming soon. T-Shirts (sizes S-M-L-XL-XXL) & Water bottles are on hand and can be delivered immediately. Match Gear
All players will practice in rugby shorts.
You must buy your own Game rugby shorts (Barbarian ‘JSL’, NAVY, not black, not royal blue!) and socks Blue/White hoops).
These are avaiable from Soccer & Rugby Imports on the Post Road near the Athena Diner just over the Westport/Southport border. Just ask for the Staples Rugby uniform.

Jerseys
Team Jerseys for our games are supplied by the School/Rugby Club.
However, if you would like to buy your own they cost $49 each with embroidered logo and team number. Contact Richard Ashfield at Rugby Imports 401-438-2727 or refer to their website at www.rugbyimports.com
Make sure you mention it is a Staples Rugby Club purchase and quote our jersey ID order number to have the correct logo embroidered and costed.
Also 3% of every purchase you make at this store - balls, compression shorts, boots, jerseys, training equipment, videos, etc, is accumulated in dollar credits so the club can receive equipment when the credits total enough. So please buy any of your rugby requirements from Rugby Imports.
Our heavy weight 100% cotton Barbarian Jerseys can be purchased from any Barbarian Rugby retailer. It is a standard design, design number STK090, and can be purchased without ordering or delay. However, if you want the logo and number on this jersey you will need to send it to Rugby Imports to have it done and pay for it separately.

Boots
First XV players will be expected to have proper rugby boots. They are made for rucking and mauling for the forwards (High cut boots), and running and tackling for the backs (low cut boots).
For you newbies, proper rugby boots have metal studs(cleats). There is a boot inspection prior each game and the referee will not permit you to play if your boots have a stud in the toe or are not supportive enough for rucking and mauling.
Numbers & Embroided logo patches
Sewing Instructions:
Horizontally center on back of jersey.
Vertically, line the bottom of the patch along the bottom of the grey colored band.
Stitch around the outside of all four sides of the patch in WHITE cotton. Make sure the edges are stitched down so that a tackler cannot grab hold or get his fingers onto the patch. Again using white cotton, then stitch diagonally from one corner to the other making an ’x’ across the patch. This is most important, otherwise a tackler can grab the patch and tear it from your jersey.
